Start Date: August 2022

In this role, you will be Stoko's lead database manager and IT administrator. You will support all hardware and software needs while leveraging your analytics acumen to own all business intelligence reporting. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Information Technology:

  • Ensure the integrity of corporate data storage and backup systems.
  • Test software and review application logs.
  • Maintain the internet connection and firewall, and monitor security tools.
  • Manage the configuration of operating systems and document the network’s configuration.
  • Anticipate potential problems and take action to solve them before they impact users.
  • Respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
  • Add, remove or update user information, such as logins and passwords.
  • Manage Stoko’s computer equipment fleet.

Business Intelligence:

  • Maintain and deliver strategic dashboards and operational reports.
  • Use data visualization to transform data into actionable insights using tools such as Google Sheets, Tableau and Juypter Notebooks.
  • Leverage strong python, SQL and VBA skills to write, update and create scripts and stored procedures.
  • Analyze, validate, and reconcile data between the enterprise data warehouse and source systems to ensure the quality of data presented in reports.

Skills required:

  • Experience with Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
  • An understanding of data structures and database formats.
  • Proficient in python, SQL, & VBA.
  • Familiar with API’s and implementation.
  • Experience with Google Workspace.
  • Experience with data visualization.
    • Degree or diploma in computer science, statistics, engineering, business analytics or other quantitative fields
    • Interest in consumer goods markets, particularly in the sporting, apparel, and/or orthopedic device industries.
    • Ability to interpret large amounts of data, and propose strong recommendations grounded in this data.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Enthusiasm for lifelong learning, problem-solving, and stepping out of your comfort zone.
