Great product and company. The support feels amazing. I normally wear 2 knee braces for some activities. Can’t wait to try them skiing!

Godsend if you get the right size

This is from a Male POV, which should make sense below. No one has suffered both physically and mentally using Donjoy knee braces for 25 years. 3 soccer ACL tears and osteoarthritis. So, Stoko knee braces is a godsend. I wear them under my work jeans and very comfortable. There are Cons below, but if you get the right size, the K1 Flux works great. Still giving a 5.
Cons:
1. I’m a high end Medium per chart. Way too small. I exchanged for a L and it is barely big enough. I will go to XL on future purchases. I’m 5-9, 185, 33” waist.
2. Stoko designed the K1 for a eunuch. If you have man parts and get tights too small, you will suffer greatly. Not near enough material in the crotch area. The L I have now is borderline.
3. Hyperextension of the knee cannot be stopped with the Stoko braces. DJ braces have hard stops. I wear the tights daily for work and debating whether to use them for snowboarding due to risk of hyperextension.
4. Takes a bit of time to get on, which is nature of this product. Not much of a con. Need to set ankle band and work your way up.
5. Going to the restroom #1 not the easiest. Front opening material overlap is too much. Material really needs to be pulled apart and held open with 2 hands.
Pro’s:
1. When sized right, the support is great. I have abandoned the DJ knee braces for work. I’m in the skilled trades and on my feet all day and have not had an issue with knee support. I now wear low profile knee pads under my jeans over the tights.
2. Comfortable. No bulk, chaffing sores, soreness, etc from DJ knee braces. No more banging knee brace into things or getting caught.
3. Light and compact. Easily packs in a bag or luggage. Should easily fit into a man purse.
4. Going to the restroom #2 is not an issue.
5. Waist band sits above the hip bone, so it does not droop down. I later bought a 2nd gen which has a very low-riding waist and does not stay up and need to return.

Awesome Support Tights

Best support tights that I have. Compression tights are okay, but this goes beyond compression. You are able to adjust the K1 Tempo so you can feel the extra support in areas that they are made for. In my case I need the support on my knees, which it does extremely well.
Expensive, buy well worth it.

So far so good

I’m still getting used to them and the way to best use them. However I do feel the flux is giving me additional support and confidence.

Still have Questions?

Stoko accepts returns & exchanges within 60 days of the purchase date.

We encourage you to put your Supportive Apparel to the test before deciding to return. Move in them, get sweaty, and give them all you got. There is a short break-in period with your Supportive Tights. This means it will take a bit of time before your tights begin to regulate and feel comfortable on your body. They can be a total pain at first and challenging to get used to, Supportive Apparel is very different than any other tights or braces you’ve tried.

All Stoko products provide the same medical-grade bracing support, leveraging our Stoko Support System technology. It is really up to your personal preference what style would suit you the best!

All-Purpose: Both the Supportive Tight and K1 Flux are engineered to deliver support in a variety of activities and is our most recommended product for all-around use. From everyday activity to court sports to golf, the K1 Flux and Supportive Tight can do it all while also keeping you cool with knitted ventilation.

Ski & Snow: K1 Summit is engineered to deliver support and warmth. It was designed for snow sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing.

Run & Hike: K1 Tempo is engineered to deliver support and keep you cool in warm environments, such as: running, hiking, and training.

Similar to other traditional/medical grade knee braces, the Supportive Tight provides support and stability to the body in compromised knee positions; however, the Supportive Tight achieves these outcomes through different means. The Supportive Tight relies on tension throughout the Stoko Support System to generate support, which is made up of cables that are integrated into the tights. The result is support that moves with your body and doesn’t compromise on comfort, aesthetics, or support.
