I don’t often write reviews…Only when something is really, really worth it. These knee support pants are amazing. I was looking for an alternative to my custom fit titanium brace after re-injuring my knee with the brace on while active. I don’t recall how I heard about this company, but with the money back guarantee I figured why not try. They are tight to fit into initially, but immediately felt more supportive than any brace I had ever previously used bringing back full confidence in quick movements. More so, within about 7 months of x2-3 use/week the cables did malfunction…Stoko was easy to deal, timely, and shipped me a new pair under warranty as advertised.

I have been using these consistently for over a year now and haven’t felt weak/sore or worried about my knee once.

For context:

In 2015 I had partial tears of my MCL and ACL, no surgery. Rehab and brace only.
Injured my meniscus with brace on in 2022. My weakness and lack of confidence since 2015 was always mainly side to side movement/pivoting with speed/force.

Since switching to Stoko pants I haven’t had any issues, nor the soreness afterwards with the following activities:

Ball hockey/hockey
Squash
Pickle ball/tennis
Volleyball

My only final hope is the longevity of the pants, specifically once off the 1 year warranty, as they have been replaced once already under the warranty. Here’s to hoping, but again totally amazing support and highly recommended at least trying. Also once you’re used to the tighter pants these becomes more comfortable than bulky custom fit braces.

I love my new Stokos. I have been wearing Stokos since mid-2023 and these are by far the most comfortable design. The fabric is soft and warm and breathes well. The waistband is much more comfortable around the hips and the band around the calf causes no chafing. I wear them every day when exercising or hiking and feel my knees are well-supported and warm. I never want to go back to regular braces.

I do miss the pocket to keep my phone safe. The sizing chart can be misleading. I have tried the medium in Gen 1 tights, but now wear large which is much more comfortable.

As noted in the Stoko literature the tights are similar to putting on a wet suit. But don’t be discouraged because Previously before using the product my knees would be sore after exercise. Now with the supportive tights my knees feel great and I can exercise every day, something I could not do without the Stoko tights.

After being curious about the Stoko’s since they came on the market I finally bought a pair of Gen 1 Stoko’s to try personally before prescribing to clients. I have since prescribed them to many clients as well a s friends. With a mildly lax ACL and meniscus/MCL strain bilaterally due to years of abuse these really help compress and stabilize my knee and hips. Love them for skiing offering me to ski longer and harder. I crank them tight when hiking down the Chief resulting in way less stress on my knee and hip joints. I am looking forward to using them when I am riding the dirtbike without bulky knee brace.

With an acute Gr 2+ ACL / MCL tear i dont feel these would take the place of a Custom brace but for all those aging athletes I don’t hesitate to endorse Stoko’s to help keep having fun and enjoying the sport of choice.

I do find the Boa tensioners in the back a bit awkward at times and wonder if they would be better in a more lateral position but that nitpicking a great product.

I look forward to stocking these in the clinic for resale to all our aging or injured athletes.

I can run again! Yes, I was no longer able to run without serve knee pain followed by swelling. Well that sh*t is done! Sort of like a miracle in a pair of gym pants!
