I got the Flux for skiing instead of the Summit. I skied it in 17 degrees and it wasn't a problem. Did not have other under garments on at the time. The work, support of knees and I think other parts like hips and whatnot. I personally would get the Flux for skiing. Plenty warm enough unless it gets real cold. I also skied it in spring conditions and it wasn't too hot. They are great until you have to take a ****. Real pain then.

J’adore mes Stoko, je joue fréquemment au pickleball et maintenant je n’ai plus cette douleur aux jambes.
Grâce au support j’ai même jouer pendant 5 heures sans problème, merveilleux.

Review: Stoko K1 Flux Knee Brace

I’ve been wearing the Stoko K1 Flux knee brace during various activities, and here’s my take:

Hockey and Skiing: The brace held up well during hockey and skiing sessions. While it didn’t offer the same level of support as a hard brace, it provided decent stability.
Hiking and Tennis: For less intensive activities like hiking and tennis, the Stoko K1 Flux performed admirably. It offered good support without restricting movement too much.
Full Knee Flexion: Here’s where things get interesting. In full knee flexion (like deep squats or lunges), I noticed a lack of support. However, for most other movements, it did help alleviate discomfort.
Overall, the Stoko K1 Flux knee brace is a solid choice for outdoor activities, especially hiking, tennis, general activity. Just be mindful of its limitations during extreme knee flexion.

Great for hockey

I am very happy that I found these...I hate wearing knee braces, especially when I play hockey because the damn things always get repositioned when I sweat. These worked out great! I was able to play without bulky knee braces and without tylenol! lol I have to lose some weight because the waist is very tight, but they are great otherewise.

Love to hear you are getting back to what you love doing! There will always be a bit of pressure around the waist, but it should get better as you get through the break-in period. We have some great videos that take you through steps on regulating the product and getting you more comfortable in them!

Wish it had a cup pocket

The tights work as advertised but I really wish they had an integrated cup pocket. I use them for hockey and I get by but a cup pocket would be a big upgrade

Stoko accepts returns & exchanges within 60 days of the purchase date.

We encourage you to put your Supportive Apparel to the test before deciding to return. Move in them, get sweaty, and give them all you got. There is a short break-in period with your Supportive Tights. This means it will take a bit of time before your tights begin to regulate and feel comfortable on your body. They can be a total pain at first and challenging to get used to, Supportive Apparel is very different than any other tights or braces you’ve tried.

All-Purpose: K1 Flux is engineered to deliver support in a variety of activities and is our most recommended product for all-around use. From everyday activity to court sports to golf, the K1 Flux can do it all while also keeping you cool with knitted ventilation.

Ski & Snow: K1 Summit is engineered to deliver support and warmth. It was designed for snow sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing.

Similar to other traditional/medical grade knee braces, the Supportive Tight provides support and stability to the body in compromised knee positions; however, the Supportive Tight achieves these outcomes through different means. The Supportive Tight relies on tension throughout the Stoko Support System to generate support, which is made up of cables that are integrated into the tights. The result is support that moves with your body and doesn’t compromise on comfort, aesthetics, or support.
